Self-awareness
I’ve got the most wonderful daughter of this world. (Of course. Any father would say that about his daughter.) Really, she is very sweet. But sometimes she can be stubborn and disobedient. This week I had to address her with paternally authority, “No darling! Just listen to me! … and don’t start crying.” “No daddy,” she said with a very sorrowful face, “I’m not crying. The expression on my face is only changing.” I couldn’t keep my stern expression anymore.
